Our article "Cancer risk among insulin users: comparing analogues with human insulin in the CARING five-country cohort study", which shows the main results from the CARING project, has now been published in Diabetologia:
On Thursday 24 August 2017 at 10:30, Heleen Bronsveld will defend her PhD thesis entitled "Unravelling the link between diabetes, insulin treatment and breast cancer" at Utrecht University.
In November 2015, the CARING project officially ended. Therefore we wrote a summary report describing our main results at this point in time and the potential impact of them.
Last Friday (October 16), results from all Work Packages were presented at the CARING symposium in the Sonnenborgh in Utrecht. In addition, several invited speakers presented relevant work /topics in relation to the CARING project. The following presentations were given:
At the European epidemiology conference 'Healthy Living 2015' in Maastricht, our two Dutch research partners presented recent results. On Friday June 26 there was an oral presentation about the systematic review of methods to combine data in multi-country studies.
CARING has announced the date for their final symposium. On Friday October 16, 2015 the results from the project will be presented and put into perspective during a one-day conference. More information on location and program will follow soon on this website.
